The term SPA is predominantly used in a commercial context and few ponder its meaning. However, the meaning is significant and, like all important tales, SPA has its roots in ancient civilizations. It was the ancient Romans who established SPA as they sought hot springs and built baths to heal their aching bodies or rejuvenate after battles. They called these places “aquae,” and the treatments there ‘Sanus Per Aquam’ (SPA), which is an acronym for “health through water.”

When designing our SPA zone, we considered the ancient Romans’ perspective because we didn’t want to „reinvent the wheel,“ but we did want to elevate the treatment to the highest level.

Therefore, we invite you to treat your body to an exclusive treatment at our SPA center, which we opened in 2017 in the hotel annex. At one location, you can experience a Finnish sauna, then move to a salt room. Afterwards, you can experience the “tropical rain” and visit the “Turkish bath.” There is also a Jacuzzi right next to the pool, where you will be refreshed with water from Banja Vrujci.
